Cancellation Policy

Private Tutoring Policy (One-on-One) 1. Booking & Payment Private tutoring sessions are scheduled in advance. Payment must be made at booking to secure your spot. 2. Cancellation / Refunds You may cancel a session up to 12 hours in advance and receive a full refund (or credit toward another session). If you cancel less than 12 hours before the session, the fee is non-refundable — because we will already have prepared materials and reserved the time. If you’re sick or have a genuine emergency, please contact us as soon as possible. In those cases, we may allow a reschedule or partial credit, depending on the situation. 3. Rescheduling You can reschedule a session if you notify us at least 12 hours before the original time. If notified less than 12 hours in advance, rescheduling is not guaranteed, and you may be charged for the missed session. 4. No-shows / Late Starts If you don’t show up to your session without prior notice, that will count as a cancellation less than 24 hours before and be non-refundable. If you are very late, shortening the session may be possible at the tutor’s discretion, but you’ll still be charged for the full session unless agreed otherwise. 5. Exceptional Circumstances Life happens (illness, emergency, etc.). In such cases, contact us quickly. We may require proof (like a doctor’s note) to consider refunding or rescheduling. We aim to be understanding and flexible for genuine emergencies. 6. Policy Updates These terms apply from the time of booking. We may adjust this policy over time; any changes will be published on our website and communicated to clients.
